Got my electric choke and put it all together. Still not running right so will have to do some tinkering with things.

Got the truck running good and pretty much not getting a lot done on it. Did get a rear slider window from a fellow member a few months back, thanks, and finally got it installed along with a new windshield. I used Clester's gaskets that I had bought over a year ago. Glass man said they were a little small and had a heck of a time getting them in.

I also added some vents for someday I plan on getting a/c. They are from Vintage Air (49056-VUL). Wanted to get the dash painted before winter but will wait till next spring or so. Also added a power source that I put between 2 of the vents. Hard too see with the sun shining in.

Very nice looking engine, I love the "Super Six" decal on top of the air cleaner.

Also got the white gauge decals. I got some carbon fiber sticker to put over my gauge plate. And got an oil gauge out of the junk yard.

looking good! where did you find the decals? I have a restored set of white 62 gauges that took a while to find an oil pressure gauge for so dont need decals now but maybe in the future

Only got a few small things done on the truck lately. Filled in the seams on the interior with Por15 product called por patch. Then filled in with body filler. Came out pretty good.

Had a friend cut out a piece from the rear spring brace and weld in a piece that isn’t as curved so I can fit in a gas tank higher up when I put in a new one

Got this radiator support last year out of a 400 or 500, can’t remember, and painted it up. Got some screen from Home Depot, for gutters, and attached it to the back of it. Should look pretty good whenever I get it installed.

Sledgehammer.
I am looking at one of your post from Sept 2016. You used POR-15 epoxy putty on your 68s rusted cowl.
I also have the common problem with rusted out cowl at the fire wall. How did the POR-15 putty fix hold up
over the time scene you did it? Would you do anything different?
Thanx Man.
BT.
