1968 Uti

Post by BabyBlueUti »

I'm new to the group as of today and wanted to show off the sweet one owner '68 Utility side long bed I picked up last week she starts on the first turn of the key, but there's plenty to do with the brake system and clutch hydraulics. This pic is just where I found her in her unmolested state… I look forward to checking in often and I'm going to have plenty of questions to get her going strong. 225 1v 3 on the tree…

Welcome to the group! That's a good looking truck there, did you find it locally?

Yes- It spent it's whole life up in Clarksville. It was in the family of a friend of ours. Her grandfather had bought it new in 1968. The receipt is still in the glovebox.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm pretty happy with the truck- 99% solid with some crazy rust at the drip line INSIDE the cab… a mystery to solve…
