All that is old will be new again

So this happened this weekend:

And then immediately afterwards I lost a retaining pin on the linkage for the transmission and was stuck in 3rd gear until I pulled over and band-aided a new one out of a paperclip. :banghead

Nice. I was bummed that I couldn't get it as it rolled, but I was on the highway when it happened, and there was no way I was going to pull over on I-95. So I just kept going and snapped a picture when I stopped at the end of the offramp. I thought about just taking a picture as it happened, but the steering box is ready for a rebuild so at 70mph the truck demands my full attention so I left my phone in my pocket.

Good idea leaving your phone in the pocket! I went for a special ride to get pictures of mine turning. I went on little 25mph roads where I could pull over and take the pic. :salut

As near as I can tell, yes. The numbers all lined up correctly/evenly before, and they are now offset/staggered.
But, that doesn't mean that the instrument cluster is original, that the odometer hasn't been replaced at some point, etc. The guy that I bought it from only put a few hundred miles a year on it and he'd owned it for a long time and had old registrations from the 80's with the mileage in the mid-70's, so I think it is the first time around.
