Light duty bumper question

Post by slick »

I'm trying to get some items squared away on the truck. I don't have brackets for my light duty bumper, so I am a little confused how far away from the truck it is supposed to be? I'm trying to tuck the bumper in tight against the body, but the bumper angle is different from the body? Is this how they are supposes to be or is it bent?

Pretty sure it's bent a bit. Look at this thread. :Thumbsup

I just checked mine, and it is on the same plane on each side. In other words, it is not bent in toward the truck.
The obsession has begun...
Thank goodness I have a daily driver.

Here is my '67 shorty. I would speculate that maybe they towed something strapped around that bumper center. Guess that's why they are called "light duty" :joker :thinking
