Parts truck wanted.
Parts truck wanted.
Over the course of the last few months I have posted in the wanted section for parts for my HPP project. The sweptline gods delivered in spades today when I was able to collect a very original and complete '63 V8/auto truck to sacrifice for my project. In the last image there are three V8 auto trucks together. And the W300 is just bad @#%

That looks pretty nice for a parts truck. I've seen a lot worse being driven.

I agree, that is sad to pull apart but do what you must!
Maybe assemble it with what you pull from the HPP and resell after parting?

Glad you were able to get that truck. I looked at it quite a few years ago but did not really need it. The original sweptline bumper is a bonus!

Re: Parts truck wanted.
The truck looks good, but the cab was rusted. Not beyond repair, but more than I would want to tackle. It was last run in 2001. The PO parked it when the water pump went out.

I will begin to disassemble the above truck. I will sell of the parts I don't need, preferably in large groups. (i.e. entire drive train). See parts for sale section of this forum if your interested. Of note this truck was produced about 13000 units ahead of my other red, V8 Auto, long box truck. Before anyone criticizes me for cutting up such a nice truck, this is what the roof looks like. On both sides.
