Not to start a paint it or leave it discussion... but leave it. That thing looks completely badass!
I have a '64 D100 without motor or tranny... I would love to do something like this after I finish my W200... please post anything that you think will help those of us who follow the same path... what you put here will be good reading for us later.
Awesome job!

Nice truck!!! Love the color.
Re: 64 Sweptline 5.7 Hemi
I love the look of these dropped trucks with bigger wheels. What back spacing on the wheels are you using and tire sizes. I have an early 65 and have had Sids drop the front axle 3 inches already but the truck is not gonna be back together for a while,my concern on 20s is clearing the drag link with no tire rubbing.

That patina and rims look killer. Great job.
Re: 64 Sweptline 5.7 Hemi
Thanks. Not sure on back spacing. My wheel n tire guy handled that. Said just got 20x10 in rear n 20x9 up front on the wheels. Said the stock wheels in that size would work and they did. No rubbing on drag link. Does rub a little on inner fender on a hard turn. I drive the heck out of it. Does great. I live on a curvy road also. Biggest thing with steering is you "have" to bend the steering arm that's mounted on the diver side wheel down three inches or you will have crazy bump steer. Pretty easy with a torch. Sid can explain how to do it. I can get the tire size of you need. Don't have that info while I'm typing this.

Sorry took me a while to get back w you. Tires are 275/45/20 in front and 275/55/20 in rear. The tranny is the stock 454rfe auto out of the 04 ram 1500.

No problem. Never any problems w the tranny. Transmission guy say it's fine as long as I'm not trying to run 500 or 600 horse.

This totally a sweet ride.. very nice job shoehorning that sucker in there!! I would love to do that to mine.. Running stock 318/3 speed.. pulled trans for clutch replacement an NO one makes replacement 10 spline 11".. Had to send old one out for rebuild. Would love to have off the shelf parts access that modern drivetrains permit... great job!
