Very straight CC you have there. How is it, as far as rust goes?

its pretty minimal and mostly surface rust. the corners of 3 of the 4 doors are rusted through and above the windshield has a 4 inch channel rusted through. all of the floors are strong and intact as well as the steps. It was a Cali truck and i assume its why its as good as it is. also the roof channel is thinning. Im shure there is more not visible once its blasted.

Thanks for your reply, it seems to be a neat truck thus far

Are you going to keep the service box? Or swap swept side bed back on?

There was a Tradesman box option available on Sweptline trucks. I saw one in a salvage yard that had a SERT number for the box. Does your truck have a SERT number on the VIN plate, located on the door jamb?

Well it doesn't have any SERT number for that bed. If the bed was an option it might not have a SERT number, but the one truck I saw equipped like that did. The Camper DE is a new one to me. It may have been sent out to have a special camper added. It did have the wheelbase stretched for a long bed.

Thanks for the info this is all new to me. I figured it was factory because the top of the Servis bed are ribs identical to the tops of the inner fenders.
My inlaws said it was like that all the way back to 72 when they drove it to utah from california with a camper in it
