Can anybody identify the location of this plate?

Post by soopernaut »

I've never seen one on a Sweptline before and perhaps it was added later. I can't make out the location on the truck that it is mounted. It could even be a picture from another vehicle that got mixed up.

Says "General Motors Corporation" just below the last row of numerals.
I suspected because GM used Fisher for a long time. My 84 Olds had "Body by Fisher" on the door sills.

Agreed.... definitely a GM piece. FYI... 67 is the color code on that. L means lower, U means upper. If I remember right, they were on the firewall.

I completely missed the General Motors part. :banghead My brother had a 1985 Regal with the same "Body by Fisher" on the door sills so that is why I thought it was added later.
