This isn't mine. It is on Craig's list---treasure coast . Can't seem to copy the link. Wonder if the 315 could be factory. That engine was primarily used in the larger 57-60 Power Giant trucks. Looks like it has optional 19.5 tires too.

I don't think that 315 is stock. Its a real cool replacement for what was
probably an A318 or a Slant 6. :Thumbsup

Those wheels do look like the factory 19.5s. Nice truck! :clap :clap

I spy a Nomenclature tag on the glove box door.... Were these common on
Fire Dept. trucks?.... :thinking

It could have been ordered under a government contract by that fire department. Nomenclature tags are a government thing, and fire departments are governmental agencies, so it's logical that this has one.

If anyone can get the NSN (National Stock Number) (nomenclature) off of the tag, I can look it up in the government database.... ssshhh! Just to see if there is stil any information on it? could be an interesting find?
