Hello, I recently inherited this old girl.
Plate on the glove compartment says it was delivered in 1966, on the dash in yellow lettering (military stamp I'm assuming) it says 1967. I've run the Vin number and it says its a 1967.
Cut the difference, 1966 1/2? haha.
My dad bought the truck from a school somewhere in the twin cities area in the late 80's for a couple hundred bucks.
The last time it was running and on the road was in 1997.
Not sure if you can tell from the pictures, but the front floor boards were nearly rusted all the through and some sort of fiber wrap was layed down to hold it all together.
The rear cross member is almost gone, but the rest of the frame is crusty but solid(?)
It looks like the rocker panels/door steps were ''repaired'' at some point as well.
I would really like to get this old girl running again, but I'm not sure if its going to be worth it. Since its not 4WD, that kind of kills it for me.
FYI Slant Six w/ 4 speed manual
Anyone have any idea what this would be worth in current condition?
I know the crew cab WITH step side bed are getting pretty rare these days, so if I do decide to let it go, I want it to go to a good home...
Thanks for any input

If the rockers and floors are toasted ..... the rear cross member rotted
away..... hasn't run or moved under its own power since '97..... maybe
start somewhere around $750-$900?

Definitely a '67, as per the door handles. If you want to make this a Power Wagon conversion, I've got a disc brake Dana 44 you can buy.
I agree on the price.
