That thing is a beast! Glad you finally got to go get it. What are the specs on it?

the specs on it are bugs and butterflies from the road trip. :>)

it is going to need some ceiling repair, and it stinks like caca due to being a squirrel den, I cleaned it pretty good last night....needs Clorox.

318-3 Poly, NP 435, NP201 w/LU2 PTO winch, 4.88s, Warn Hubs, Firestone 16.5 tubeless wheels. 79K miles
Chinook Model 290 (2) bunks, shatter/shower combo, fridge, forced air heater, holding tanks, gas lantern, sink, stove, oven.
Sold new out of California, then Lake Havasu AZ, Albuquerque NM, now Texas.
30" frame stretch and doubled up at the joint. Has a big aux. fuel tank one the frame.

I think it is likely a one - off, seen some on 2wd Chevy and Fords.

All you need is time and money and it will be a wonderful vehicle in which to camp. Please post more pics as you get it honed in.

I'd like to find a similar rig for my Alcan adventures. Let me know when you'll let it go.
