need input please
This is my 69 d100.I have done a lot to it, I have rewired with a kit from Ron Francis.New wheels and tires less that 10 miles on them. Added new intake and 4 b. carb. new battery, scarebird front brakes. rebuilt rear drums new everything down to the springs. Ran all ne brake lines with prop. valve. New alt.,water pump. New gauges. Also still have most stuff I replaced. I am thinking about selling. I just have no Idea on how to value the truck. All I know is how much I have in it..Any input would be appreciated.

Nice truck and I have no idea but, one of the guys will chime in. BTW...Your carb is on the non-ported side and that provides full vaccum. You probably know that and have some reason for doing so. Like the silver and welcome.

Thanks for the heads up about the carb. I did not realize it was backwards. After trying to tune the carb. Guess son put the hose back on. Never even checked it.

Re: need input please
That will make it hard to tune on a Edelbrock. Your timing is probably wrong. Put it on the vacuum on left, adjust timing and idle. Readjust mix and check it all again. Probably will help with detonation and/or performance. Craigbobmac25 wrote:Thanks for the heads up about the carb. I did not realize it was backwards. After trying to tune the carb. Re: need input please
its a nice truck, get it tuned and running like a clock and you could probably ask $4000 or $5000 for it. $6000 if you got carpet and touched up the bed little things go along ways.
but she looks very solid and well taken care of. what motor do you have in it?

318 with new 4 carb. Motor was rebuilt 6 months before I bought it. Was not driven much. Told has less than 500 miles on motor since rebuild.
Re: need input please
that sounds like a pretty solid rig, barely even broken in. any history on the transmission? stock rear end?

Re: need input please
no history on trans. I have not had a problem with it while I have had it. I'm pretty sure the rear is stock. Changed the rear seals and everything went according to the instructions for a stock rear.
Re: need input please
it sounds pretty solid. if your still looking to sell it, id start at $4000 maybe $5000
