There's nothing like a Big Block truck. :Thumbsup
What is the axle gear ratio in it? :thinking

4.10s in it, love the big block too, runs great with 95K on it lots of grunt even in spite of the fact that it is currently being choked out by breathing through a two barrel and single exhaust... but I plan on fixing those things...hehe

and at 1500, the price was definitely right.

I've eyed that thing on craiglist several times. Is it really as rust free as the ad said?

floorboards around front cab mounts are shot as are the outer rockers, otherwise just a few small rust holes here and there but overall good. interior is great, paint still shines pretty well. Ill fix the floors and outer rockers and drive it, not going to restore, just a survivor and mechanically go through everything.

Cool! Looks like you need an old fashioned CB to make use of that dash bracket. :dance :Thumbsup

Lowered the front 3 inches. front bumper was 17" off the ground, rear was 15" now front is 14" and it looks and rides MUCH smoother. I took out the second to the main leaf and the smallest leaf in each front pack. rear is still untouched for now.

New seats, from a 1990s Chevy, the seats look awesome and the truck looks groovy... But when two decades collide in the right way, it looks outstanding!

I also have to add that these new seats weighed half what the original bench did! I will save the original, trampoline like, vinyl bench to preserve it for the originality of the truck, but it sucked to sit in, so I had to get something comfy, these Chevy seats fit the bill. And it's about time a Chevy was useful for something, like donating parts to a real mans big block truck!
