1972 D-500 318, 435, 2 speed Used to be a water truck, we've since added a couple of gin-poles and 12k winch

Fremont County, CO (Canon City) road & bridge

deep gears, the poor 318 wants to come out of the hood at about 60 mph

This is my 70 Fargo D 500. Original 318 (435 4 speed ,2 speed rear) was seized so I installed a 73 400 BB from a Newport into the truck. Wasn't a straight forward swap .
Crane is a 1969 Hiab SpeedLoader. Truck was an original 25000 mile truck when I got it. Been sitting in a machine shed for close to 30 years.
