What did this badge come from?
I've never seen an 850 badge before and I'm not aware of any D850 or C850. Perhaps a foreign market had an 850.

Re: What did this badge come from?
I have a 1971 C1000 roll back but I've never heard of an 850 either. I thought they increased by 100s all the way to 1000. It seems like it must be from an export. I tried to google it but I came up with nothing. Here's a picture of what my C1000 looks like.

I see. I just googled dodge 850. I guess it is a truck from the UK.

The British K850 doesn't appear to have any 850 badges on it so I don't think this was from those trucks.facechicken wrote:Dodge K850
This is a Chrysler badge, not a Holmes badge.gyman98 wrote:Holmes 850 wrecker

Not that I'm aware of.Hobcobble wrote:Did other auto manufacturers use that style badge??
Maybe. I'm sure it's foreign and doesn't appear to be British or Australian.Hobcobble wrote:Could it be something out of Argentina??.... Interesting...

US truck. Dodge had the C800 and C900 and for whatever reason they decided to split them at build the C850, late 60's. Swing out fender trucks. Haven't seen many, honestly don't even remember exactly what the reasoning was. Engine or something.

Re: What did this badge come from?
Kyle, I figured you might be the one person who knew what it was for. It sounds like a pretty uncommon truck. Thanks.
