1970 D200, 69k original miles

Post by chibravo »

My truck...Pretty basic...

318, 4 speed, Lift kit, ION wheels...Original paint. Front bumper mod etc...New interior: Carpet kit on floor and seat professionally re-done.

Alot of general maintenance done...I would not hesitate to drive this truck across the country now....

I drive it only in the summer....

I am looking into putting a "moon-roof" in the roof. Basically would like a removable glass roof that would be the size of the current headliner in it...Somewhat of a "convertible" truck....I think it would be a great mod....I will let you know how it turns out !

Thanks guys ! ...Badges are related to Windsurfing Co's....( It's my surfing rig in the summer months and then gets parked in the winter ) I am very excited to get custom made moonroof for it...A convertible truck will be awesome !

I had the glass professionally tinted with 3m products yesterday....Turned out great !

Hey, I was just looking at your truck. The stance looks good. I was wondering how much
lift you have. Also, what size tires are you running. Thanks for your reply.

Donnie....I think I ended up using a 6" lift in the front and 4" in the back to get the truck to sit level. 33" Toyo mud and snow tires. ( Tread tires make a lot of sense seeing that I only drive it in the summer ! :)

I really want to install a manual 4 speed with over drive in this truck this summer. Then, it would be road worthy !
I have recently tinted the glass, powdercoated in rear bumper, installed a tachometer and an fm converter. I also had the front seat re-done and a new carpet kit installed. The inside cab is now complete !
