Truck is ALOT smoother with 1000lbs in it! I must say these trucks work great, and look great doing it!

Saturday morning I drove 120 miles to pick up our new -used boat. It was a quick trip cause I had to get home to drop off the boat and hook up the travel trailer. Took the travel trailer to the Columbia River for salmon fishing with friends. (1. yes I have friends and 2. no i don't use the trailer to fish with... I sleep in it!) By Sunday evening I was back in Spokane. A perfect weekend and perfect 400 total miles towing trailers with my upgraded engine.

Here's my '63 with big gate that was given to me for scrap. Eat your heart out, guys that pack ridiculous stuff on Rangers and Tacomas. This one has the load capacity to keep the rear bumper off the ground and doesn't do but a few mpg's worse than most smaller trucks I've driven in actual hauling situations.

Don't forget to send in your photos for the 2013 sweptline calendar. Send to simonsben at gmail dot com.

So far we have three submissions... I try to include at least one photo from everyone that sends one in.
