I have had a bunch of A's of the past ten years or so...... 5 pickups, 4 window vans, 1 8-door van, 1 no door A-108, an 3 L-600's.

As the swepty and Power Wagon Fleet increased, I sold them all off except for a '65 pickup with corner cab glass...it is patiently waiting for me to finish restoring it..

There is a a108 here in town I've got my eye on. Really wanting to get it, but the wife is still frowning on it.

Rough! Most of the cabinets are "there", but it is missing cool swing-up table, and back seats.

He and a buddy had driven six hours to buy a different car, that got sold out from under them. Not wanting to come home empty handed, they hit up the local craigslist and came across this. Offered the guy how much they had brought for the other car (I don't remember what the asking price was on the van), and drove it away. Of course, halfway home the motor blew...

Cool story, something thats a P.I.T.A. at the time but they'll remember that trip for a long time.

Sooo true! Here's a current picture of the interior, while he's swapping out the motor.

Demulsion, The body looks solid. Even with the motor going sour I'd say that thing was still a good deal. JP :Thumbsup

It's not terribly rusty, for sure. But I don't know that there is an undented panel on the whole thing... But like you say, for the price it's hard to go wrong.

There's enough room show movies (charging to get in) and serve over priced drinks (3 drink minimum). :thinking
