Really great vids. My truck has all the features of the "White Hat Special", makes me wonder if Pawpaw got that deal.

I thought you said your truck came with a hat. Maybe it was somebody else. That would also explain the unusual color for your truck. It isn't Marlin Blue and it isn't Arctic Blue. It could be the special order Medium Blue that was only available on White Hat Special trucks.

Mine didn't come with a hat, but Pawpaw did get a Dodge race set by Eldon when he bought the truck. Not sure what blue my truck is, here's a pic. Here is also a pic of the race set that came with the truck. The race set features a 1968 Charger R/T, 1968 Coronet R/T, and a pie plate D100.

I've embedded them before the button was there, but I just typed the html that the button now supplies. So I'm not sure why that didn't work for you?

I enjoyed these...thanks. :Thumbsup

I especially love the 1970...

Life was so much simpler then...a cute girl sells trucks...

Now, they would show the truck flying through the air like a bullet, or some dumb thing, completely overdosed on special effects.

Gee we would have to think hard about whether the ad was for a pick-up...or a video game!

Here is a much better quality version of the 1969 Adventurer commercial with Lyle Waggoner - you can actualy see the truck in this one.

I think the narrator for this one may have been Paul Harvey?
Listen to the voice, especiallay at the end at :55 where he says, "...by night, who knows?"

Sounds like Paul Harvey to me.. I did a quick search on the internet and was unable to confirm this, but I did find some information that said he did in fact do voice talent work for some commercials.
