Hey jwing, what color was the gold trucks factory seat? I 'm painting mine gold and not 100% sure what to do for seat color. Your truck looks great, keep it up.

Not sure slick, that gold cab had a newer blue velour seat hobbled into it when I got it. Your 68 restoration is looking mighty fine that color looks great is it close to the original ?

Nice. The color on my truck is close to the original interior of my truck. It's an mid 60's chrysler color. Not sure if it ever came on the exterior of the trucks.

Your truck is looking great! I'm happy that the Getrag swap worked out for you. It should be nice with the 4.88s. :Thumbsup

Thanks Doug, this tranny combination has been a long time coming and it is very nice having that fifth gear.

Thanks Doug for your innovation and inspiration, it's unlikely that I would have come up with this conversion on my own. It works really nice with the 4:88's now I'm thinking about more cubes in front of the Getrag since the 318 is a little short on torque when I add the travel trailer or a loaded car hauler.
