Re: Your favorite single photo of your truck.
yeah they are lifestyle trucks, but remember this lifestyle has a 71 production date lol...it didn't even come with seatbelts (pre 1-1-72 production date) sometimes looking up parts, it will say sweptline, even up to 93MOPAT wrote:ACTUALLY the 72 up are 'LIFESTYLE" era if memory serves.

Re: Your favorite single photo of your truck.
This picture isnt all that great, but i love it because this is my first trip out in the truck with the 3.55 gears. (was 4.10's). I'm cruisin on along at 65mph on the bypass. something I could never do with the 4.10's. and this is also the first time the girlfriend ever rode in it also And I'm talking on my cell phone to my sister, who is right in front of me in her car, so I could figure out the exact speed I was running (speedo was off 15mph, and at highway speeds the rpm's were 300 lower than they were with the old gears) I know talking on cell phones while driving is bad....but this was for a good reason!

Re: Your favorite single photo of your truck.
Hey PDQ did you do the 2 one barrel swap? If you did I'm wondering how you like it? I had that intake, linkage, and was getting the carbs together when I made a trade on the truck and that stuff went with it. I never got to run it and have always wondered. As much trouble as it was getting the stuff together, I'm not sure I'll ever know....PDQAUTO wrote:still a work in progress
