Slick.

looks great!

Can you tell us alittle about how the frame matched up? What mods were needed so far.

Did you have to channel it? Cut the fender wells? Putting 15's, 18's, 20's on it?

where to start!!! I did channel the body over the frame at the back of the cab, just a couple of inches..from the back of the cab about a foot forward...had to build my own cab mounts because the originals or the 78's would not work...for the fronts i flipped the 78's and welded the 67's over them then grinded them down to look halfway decent...I bolted the 78's back in the original holes and it worked out...for the back I made a plate welded the cab mount to the plate then bolted it into the original holes...the back was only off by a couple of inches...
I also had to do some cutting in the bed...I had to cut the front crossmember and the two middle crossmembers to get it to sit down on the frame. I haven't built the mounts for the bed yet...the truck is low right now, but not low enough!!! The front springs and bumbstops are completely out of the truck and it is as low as the upper ball joints will let it go...I'm having some upper A-arms built for it so it will come down some more in the front...I also have to build my C-notch for the rear so it will come down another 6-8 inches...The truck is going to be air bagged so it will still be driveable...As for now I'm going to run 15's, but that can always change...The truck is going to be flat black with red rims.....Image

they are not pretty, but they work...the picture with the two of them one is ground down and the other is not that is why they are different... I cut off the 67 cab mounts where they originally attached to the frame..after i welded them to the 78 mounts then I grinded off the bottom part...
