Well I finally got my own house and garage and a place to work on my projects, including my 70 Crew longbed. After letting it rust in a field since I bought it in Feb. last year, I've started the disassembly. The floorboards are about how I thought they would be. I'm looking forward to getting the welder and compressor hooked up in my new garage. Now, I just need a whole lot of time and money.

Without thinking about moving the crew, I traded off our only available truck. So I used high tech engineering to push it back 20 feet behind the garage.
*Update*
Well it's been nothing shy of completely hectic for me lately; with a new house, baby, busy job, out of town a lot, Army, etc. Anyway I finally got a couple of hours to spend on it and pulled the gas burner out. My 67 needs a clutch and this one looks pretty good compared to buying one when I don't plan on using this one.
2 1/2 hours to disconnect and pull the motor & trans wasn't bad at all, but wrestling this thing around by myself in the wet yard sucked! Let me just add that having a large enough garage for all your projects is priceless. Too bad I don't!

Forgot to add.... if the engine you've just pulled is newer than a '68, it'll have a 23 spline clutch disc and a
different clutch pressure plate/throw out bearing than the old 10 spline pre-'69 clutch set up. They don't
"intermingle"....

I have no clue how it ran, I never started it. And no I don't need it I am putting a CTD in. I believe Hemikuda71 put the motor in and it was suposed to be a really good one. Maybe him, Cowboy, or cudajimmy could add info on it. They are all previous owners.

Yeah, wow. That sucks. So now what... buy a new clutch, or switch the non hydraulic trans and all.
Doug good to see your getting around to working on the CC , we had it running about 5min it was a little rough bad gas if I remember right & some down south wireing was not helping it eather

If you want new:
Go to http://www.hrclutch.com and get the parts. Don't try
to go mechanical in your '67.... it isn't worth it.

HemiKuda or CudaJimmy,
If you read this.... give me your input on this engine.
