Major Find!!!!
My wife and I were driving the back roads in our Jeep a couple of weeks ago near our new house, when all of a sudden, I spotted Power Wagons! A whole yard full of Sweptlines. I was pretty excited but didn't have a chance to stop and look until last night. And to think, these trucks were only two miles from my place.
This 71 was purchased new by the guys father and now has military axles under it and is still used on the farm almost daily for spraying. The truck has absolutely no rust.
This is a parts truck he bought just for the grille. The cab is almost perfectly rust free and has a few other parts I need for my 71. I'm probably going to go back tonight and buy it.
This truck is very cool and will probably end up next to my barn. It is a Power Wagon with a factory installed 383 big block, power stearing, and power brakes. It was originally a Navy truck but ended up being used by the state of Montana as a spray rig. I couldn't find any rust through on it. Only surface rust and even very little of it. Stay tuned, this truck may come up for sale on this site.
This is another parts truck that had a lot of great parts on it and was an original Custom cab truck.
He had fixed this truck up years ago with new paint, interior, bumpers, and weather stripping but the engine is tired so he quit driving it. Very solid and complete truck. He claims it still runs and drives fine.
Another parts truck that was picked up at an auction. It is an original twin stick, PTO winch truck but the winch and bumper were gone when he bought it. Pretty rough, but still cool.
All of these trucks had surprisingly very little to no rust. He also has quite a few extra parts in his shop including a complete 8 lug Dana 44 front and 8 lug Dana 60 rear for a PW. He was willing to sell any of the trucks except the spray rig. I will probably buy the teal parts truck and the crew. Any one interested in any of the others?

Dang, very cool. That yellow cc is schweeeeet. I'd love to bring that one back if we get out there.
Nah, I dont need something I wouldnt have time to work on. That one that he says runs and drives fine, I might be able to convince my cousin on that one. If its still around come fall, and its up for a 1000+ mile trip home.

Damn, I sure like that Crew utility bed W-series.
Of course, it's not in Oklahoma.

It looks like a lot has been changed since these pictures were posted.
Re: Major Find!!!!
It looks like they are similar, yet different trucks. There is a red one in the Sweptline Regestry that matches these two. The truck on craigs is cool, but a bit much, with a knock and all IMO.soopernaut wrote:It looks like a lot has been changed since these pictures were posted.

Re: Major Find!!!!
Your right. I know both trucks. The guy I'm dealing with bought both yellow crews at a state auction and sold the one on Craigs list. He kept the other, but never got around to doing anything with it.digdoug wrote:It looks like they are similar, yet different trucks.
