Locked up abroad season 11 episode 2. Mexican border bust. Super nice red and white truck. I think it is a 70. It gets lots of screen time.No swept in the body line and round wheel wells only on the back. Did the only make them this way for Mexico?

Hello all.
I was watching "The Food that made America" on the History Channel. They were talking about the original drive up restaurants and the "bell hops" or waitresses. And showed a quick flash of a restaurant set up as a prop. Pretty sure there was a Sweptline in the few cars in the shot. They showed the prop flash a couple of times. Did anyone else see that. Or am I just wishing it was a good old Sweptline.
Thanx.
ScrooLoose.

The IMCDB site is pretty cool, you just select the car you want and it will show dozens of movies with the vehicles appearance!
Now that sounds like a cool website. I will be spending hours on it,as soon as I have a few to spare.

Rihanna music video for Elle mag, title STAY.
62-65 S500 supposedly in Havana 1956, (but she wasn't born yet, nor was the truck)
starts at 2:18 - 2:58, especially cool shot at 2:48
I've seen it, but keep forgetting to mention it here. After looking on youtube, I guess I've only seen the edited version on TV. There is a side view of the truck in this video that I don't recall seeing in the commercial.
Side view lasts for all of 1 second (at 48) and hard to see the truck lost in the scenery.
70/71 W200, upper/lower side trim, aftermarket mirrors, very interesting steps under doors and front of bed.

Not to mention clearance lights on the cab.

Has anyone seen the new Stihl chainsaw commercial? At end there is a Sweptline charging thru a field.
