I just noticed that last night, the sherriff drives the power wagon and his brother, the deputy who is chasing the gangsters daughter, was driving the D200.

Latest show Legendary Motorcars on Velocity features a dark green/white pie plate PW Ute. Had a light blue 318 poly. Werent they all red? The body looked really good to me, but the seller said it was unrestored. Looked very original, except chrome wheels. The dealer tells his girl to ask $25k, take no less than 23. She sells it to Peter for 21k and a pair of designer shoes! Gotta be TV show BS drama, 2k for a pair of shoes?? :bs
Anyway, nice to see a Ute get a little exposure.
UPDATE: dealer was Ray Evernham, and the girl was his wife, so she probly wont get fired. I think they can afford $3000 shoes. He also had a 46? PW and a really nice blue 61 PW swepty that were not for sale.

Just saw a really cool W3-800 4 eye cab & chassis pulling a missile on tv. Some show about the Fairchild Company vs Texas Instrument building transitors and semiconductors. :thinking Very odd show, based on technology but they kept referring to the military and showed the cool swepty briefly.

I remember seeing a D300 in Radio Flyer and in one of the Dirty Harry movies. Seems like there was a swepty in one of the scenes in two lane black top where they were cruising through a town too. Can't forget about the power wagon in Lone Wolf McQuade.

Please forgive me if somebody already posted it, but, in the movie " Million Dollar Baby", there's a swepty in the scene where Clint Eastwood is pumping gas and the Girl boxer sees a young girl holding a puppy while sitting inside a sweptline parked on the other side of the pumps. Then she smiles....kinda made me smile too, seeing the swepty. Well, that and the old gas pumps too. :Thumbsup

The show Vegas had a scene where 2 sweptlines were involved in a crash. It took me forever to find this clip and it still doesn't show much. Both trucks looked pristine before. The bed side was caved in on the 2wd truck. The guy driving it said "Did you really have to wreck my truck?". It had a chrome rear bumper too.

The first few episodes of Longmire has a pie plate powerwagon. Lou Diamand Phillips is the driver.

Man Of Steel "Superman" movie!!!! Just saw this movie the other night and didnt know there was a scene that had a Sweptline in it and I freaked out!!!! It was light blue with a white top. When the characters are sitting on the tailgate and the driver's side tail light is in the picture, I told my son, "see that top screw on that tail light?, I need that screw"!!! He and those around me surely thought I was crazy!!!!
