your image post thingy is wrong, you dont need the second set of brakets with img in the middle after the link, it works fine without them. if you look at the pic i posted, it has it written out behind the pic, the first one i posted i just clicked on the img area just under the subject line, it automatically put the img on the post and i pasted the url directly after it, worked fine that way, and i didnt have to add the second [/img]

Actually this is what you have in the post. It will automatically add the closing bracket if you start using the image buttons. Even if you stop and type the closing one, it will automatically add another. Just like it did in your post.

Code: Select all

took the pic out at freds place, well fred took it, i dont have a digi cam. thats a couple of his big dodges in the back ground. fred and i were making a deal on the bed, i mentioned what i wanted it for, he mentioned that the bed i wanted was all that was left on a truck frame he had already stripped and for a small fee i could pick up my bed ready to tow, all i would have to do is bring some wheels and lights. so i jumped all over it. he cut and bent the frame section that normally is under the cab to make the tongue, then welded in a few extra supports and the hitch for me. saved me a lot of time stripping my parts truck down to do the same work to the frame and putting his bed on it. plus, as a huge added bonus, the trailer has a 3.23 rear end. woooooo hooooooooooo i got the third member i want for my truck. now all i got to do is swap the sure grip carrier from my 3.91 over to the 3.23 and im in bussiness. all in all, this turned out to be one of the best deals i have made so far.

That is a nice trailer Fred helped ya with. I just rented a duplex and low and behold next door is a sweptline trailer just like what ya got only red. The duplex does have a garage so the next thing is to get all my tools up here along with my 70 and some things from the house.

Keep that in mind

Post by MountainMoparRobin »

I've seen a few big trucks up here and I also have been thinking about a Diesel conversion on a D100 Sweptline making it a Fifth wheel, beefing the springs and getting a trailer to pull, thing is it won't be done in time for the move. I haven't looked at how much U-hual is asking? I have a lot of tools and then theirs the parts, Go-Karts, riding lawn mower, HDTV (38") and furniture, Sandblaster, table saw, and lubricates. I probably forgot some things like the 2 other computors, I'm not looking forward to it but I need my tools and Sweptline! I sold the 300M and the sweptline will be getting the RAM AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM that I told Clint about, and will be driven a lot more than it would have in TEXAS, cruizen is huge up here and their are Street Machine's hanging out at almost every Sonic Drive in. I just need to get an Middle Eastern Oil Connection!

make sure your siting down when you call uhaul. it was gonna cost me $350 one way to rent a tow dolly to go to houston. then $328 one way to come back to new mexico, why the price difference, i have no clue. but for $500 i can but a good one and own it from now on. and lord help you if you want a trailer to put your truck on for the ride, upwards of $700 round trip due to mileage. and you aint no closer to home then i am.

Looks cool Trey!

I pulled out my trailer/ truck bed today. I had to pull the brake parts from it. My dad came by and said I should sell the bed. Then after looking at it said it would make a cool trailer to match the truck. Just like yours!

I am amazed how light and balanced the bed is.

Well, Robin, I can tell you this. For a 17 ft Uhaul with insurance from New Braunfels to Fort Worth was rated at 285 miles, and ran me $250 one way. $0.40 cents a mile over that. But on the bright side, they screwed up and gave me a 26 footer for the same price.... didn't have to stack a single thing; it all laid out nice and flat. That big ole truck was like driving the Dodge with a 12 inch lift and power steering... and a really long trailer. You're gonna have to email me an update on the ram air project. In a month or 2 of I can swing it, I want to get some welding equipment and start on my own hood modifications... got a picture in my head I think will look pretty sweet, but would still like to know how yours is going. Glad to hear things are coming together for you.
Thanks, Clint
