Just installed these. US Wheels rat rods, 17x8, 4.5 bs, 235/65r17. Was gonna go 255/60 but couldn't find used in that size and didn't wanna put good rubber on till I've done some more work to it. Will look way better after I lower it.

ok so here is how i got the truck.. stock mopar 15X7 wheels.. think the backspace is 4.25". i didn't like them.. maybe a color other then red would have made them look a little better but i still think they stick out too car..

Image

i went with a wheel vintiques smoothie wheel (wvi-12661204).. 16x6 with 4" backspace... had them painted white that was matched to the original paint showing through on the roof... i think they look a ton better... the rims are cheap and the 16" tires are off a jeep JK so you can find them all over dirt cheap.. got all five tires for $100 and they are practically new..

Old Progressive wheels from when the American Racing family split. 15X7 with a 3.5" back space in front and 15X9 with a 3.5" backspace on the rear. Tires are 275 60R15 rear and 215 65R15 on the front.

With the originals and the later model replacements. The truck will eventually be blue so the wheels will look better with that color.

Yes I’m raising up an old thread. I would like to see some photos of tires and wheels. I’m going to put on some 17 or 18 to fix my scrub line issue. Riddlers are 20s and maybe too big. The 15s are Kelsey Hayes and to small. Craig

67 sitting on 20s. Stock Dodge charger rt 20s, with 245/20 tires. Im using 1-1/2" spacers in the front, and 2" in the back to match the width. The picture has an IFS from uncle jimmys that I am currently pulling apart and trying to fix. Its a garbage kit, so Im trying to salvage what I can. Truck hasnt been on the road since the install, so I dont know about any clearance issues.

I might post more later. Im about to put these wheels back on my charger because the charger wheels are leaking bad due to corrosion. Im going to have them repair and re-polished, and use them on the truck.

I am assuming you mean it's leaking brake fluid. If that's the case, you can purge the system with denatured alcohol and change it to DOT5 silicone, then you won't see brake cylinders failing again, with the benefit of no corrosion.

No, they are leaking air. Im losing enough air to set off the low pressure light every other day. I went to Discount Tire, and they said there was corrosion in the tire bead area. I found a few places that say they can fix it and re-polish them, so Im going to let them look at the wheels and see. The wheels on my charger are polished aluminum, not chrome. When I bought them the car never saw snow, and it was garage kept. But I have had to change that, so corrosion has started.

I had a full set of 14”, but they were just too smallest, plus I got an offer I couldn’t refuse!
