Home Depot Sweptline

Post by usna87 »

I saw this great looking 68 D100 parked next to mine at Home Depot but before I could steal the mirrors the owner came over and introduced himself. wally426ci, a real pleasure to meet you!

Before I even started reading, I knew that was Wally's truck.

Great meeting you Jason! I was stoked to see another. Your truck is sweet as well man. I never see other trucks around let alone another 68.

Looks like a truck show broke out at the local Home Depot. :Thumbsup
That's pretty neat.

Pretty unheard of around here. All this because of my test drive. :2cents

Ha! I was applying for insurance from Hagerty when I casually mentioned taking the truck to Home Depot. That stopped the conversation. No coverage. :moom
Nice not having trouble finding our trucks in the herd in a parking lot.
Thanks for the pic. :salut

I don't drive it much and as you can see, it was a "car" show..... :joker

Just re-upped my insurance with State Farm - but it's insured as a jalopy, not like the fine looking vehicles y'all have. A step up from basic coverage but still cheap compared with a new rig. That just means I can put all that savings into parts, right?!? Love the photo of the "truck show" at Home Depot, by the way. Sometimes it's fun to park next to a new Ram and find out that my ride sits higher than a new one, plus it's made outta real steel. Get into a wreck? No sweat, hose off the bumper and keep goin'!
Keep on truckin'!
Jim
