Re: Way cool key ring
I'm not into key rings, or even many keys on a rig (hat stuff in my pockets), but I want one of those. That is just cool!

I think what you named the picture is a good name. I'd totally go for that one. I'm an electrical engineer and on most of the boards I design, I put a little fratzog in them. Well at least the best one I could come up with!!! Plus look ->

Re: Way cool key ring
Yeah he did a good job on that. Was that made on a standard mill or CNC? It would be cool if he could do a run of them to sell and maybe offer them powdercoated to match the color of a buyer's truck.

It was done on a cnc and i doubt the school would let make a run of them for sale.

Re: Way cool key ring
Here's what I'm thinkin', he should have the program on a floppy right? Then he can load the program into just about any CNC and BOOM you have the part. Well, of course you have to do the touch offs, but you get the picture, anyone with access to a CNC could make the part and split the cost and let the son make the money to help fund his education or even give him a little beer or Mopar money! Sounds good to me, and this keychain could be offered to many more Dodge owners besides swept owners! So as a community, we can make this happen, lets get to it!
Someone with the know should hook him up with some Mopar links.
Whatcha think, about $20 for unfinished, $30 for powdercoated? I'd pay that, I want one in Artic Blue! First to order!!!

Re: Way cool key ring
To do it right he would have to get it licsened through Chrysler-Dont know anything about that.
Re: Way cool key ring
Hmmm, I said that kinda in an earlier post. They would never let it fly, period.
Like I said, still pretty neat. The copyright thing is very touchy. Anyone ever heard of the Black Mustang Club? If you have, you know what I mean.
