electrical system upgrade
ok i switched the ignition from points to electic but i wanna convert the alternator from 1 field wire ta 2 field wires but im not sure how i would wire up a late 70s-80s voltage regulator.SOME! PLZ HELP ME IM CONFUSED!!

and the linked Mad Electrical article linked there. I did the amp guage bypass mod (but haven't updated my diagram yet) when I added power door locks and alarm and was VERY impressed with the results.

Still - I think it's worth it. Power windows would be a nice touch. The companies I reference in the above threads offer actuator kits for that as well.

well i got the volatage regulator n all that hooked up now im just thinkin of tryin 2 think of a way 2 put power door locks in out of a 5th avenue

um im not sure ill have to get back to you on that one after i weld up the hole frome the origanal gas pedal and put a lil bit of a newer one in unless someone else can answer that for you. the amp gauge should just work fine still i havent touched that.
