When the headlights are on, the left front blinker goes on with it.

Is it a crossed wire....???

Probably. Could also be reversed with the driving light circuit

It still sounds like you have a ground problem, specifically, the one for the left headlight. My 69 has a ground wire from the headlight plug to the core support. My parking/turn signal light housing also has a ground wire that goes under the top mounting screw, with the other end under the nearest grill mounting screw. All grounds have star washers. You will have to remove the headlight to check the ground wire directly behind it.
Did you install the grounds that were suggested before?

Bed to frame, cab to frame, engine to cab. If not, you need to do it or you will continue to have problems.
