Headlight/Turn Signal Conflict

Tired of chasing wires!

Turn signal works, but when I turn on the headlights, it doesn't and the headlight burns dimmer than the other.

Sully, Double check all your ground's , & your dimmer switch, it's on the floor , your front blinkers have a ground , & the wires are in the same harness as the head lights , I do not know if they hook together or not there , but they all hook up at the fuse box

you may want to pull the steering wheel and look at the wire's for the turn signal switch as well. i had mine out recently and found that the covering for the wire's are cracking and in a couple of spots the wire was exposed i put some electrical tape on those and mine have worked alot better

GROUNDS, GROUNDS, check your grounds, clean all contact points from the light buckets to the core support, including the grill mount screws. also
run a added ground wire to core support from the battery neg side.
If pulling the headlights on causes the turn signals not to work it is likely a voltage drop issue, the
the flasher not to have enough voltage to make it flash.
If the voltage does not have a good path back to the battery you will have all kinds of strange things going on.

The left turn signal works fine until I turn on the headlights. It lights up and stays on while the headlight remains dimmer.

I have removed all tape from the harness and chased the wires...no shorts that I can tell.

i will try running a ground wire to turn signal and head light wells/pans.
