Howdy folks
When I press the horn button in the center of the steering wheel it only sounds when the steering is straight. In any other position, when I turn the steering wheel apparently I don't get contact. The horn doesn't sound. Do you have any clues? Any advises I would appreciate very much. Thank you.

dieter, sound's like something just came loose , do you have just the small center botten in the middle that's spring loaded, or the one with the little finger's ? if the second one or more finger could have been bent by hitting to hard , & you can just pull them back down

Thanks a lot for your answer. As long as I remember it has at least one finger. But actually I can't figure it out, because I'm in the States due to a business job. I'm located in LaGrange, GA since two weeks and for the next two weekts. After returning back home I'll turn the center of the steering wheel to have a look how it is looking inside. If there is a or more finger(s), I'll bend it or them a little. By the way, the inner parts of the steering wheel are looking quite similar to them on the upper drawings of the site (http://www.sweptline.org/parts/electrical/08-18.gif), except I don't have the switch of and the turn signal lever. The turn signal is actuated with a (Swiss army style) switch on the dash board.

Under the wheel there is a spring loaded wheel that lets the
power pass from the signal switch to horn,
if the track were it rides, under the Stearing wheel,
gets grease or dirt on it it will cause it to cut out
were ever it does not have contact.

Thanks a lot for your help. I'm going back home June, 3rd. As soon as possible I'll remove the steering wheel. I expected somethin like you guys are telling me. The last and first time I removed the steering wheel I didn't care about it at all. I think this was my fault. I'll post more details after two weeks. Thanks a lot.
