you get a face plate from a factopry hd set up and all those will bolt right in. heres a pic of my factory HD set up, with an after market tach. boltes right in, dodge used a gauge pattern on all them that still available. how cool is that??? :Thumbsup

I'm looking at adapting a rod plate to fit over the opening on my 71 or getting someone to machine me a new face plate. I have the gauges from a garage sale. Just need to pick up the truck!

thanks, im not crazy about the gauges cut into the dash, that could have been hung from under the dash. but, such is life, it was that way when i got it. if you use the factory plate, the holes are the same exact size as the new aftermarket gauges. one of these days that gauge panel is gonna be stuffed full of vdo classic gauges, and the holes in the dash welded up.
