Temp wiring help

I need to run a temp circuit to start and charge a 71 318. The wiring under the dash is a mess and I need to make it movable under its own power. Any assist with a quick simple circuit to get it started and hopefully charging the battery would help.

Looking for a decent front harness or other wiring ideas too.

if the VR is working right, run the big red wire to the battery off the back of the alt.
