A new way to install radio

Vehicle:67 Utiline with a 318, 1 bbl automatic. No radio or A/C

I have lurked on here and read about other radio installs on the trucks without a radio. None of the solutions met my desires. I wanted to avoid any dash holes, drilling or under or behind seat speakers, as well as a simple, clean install, but with Bluetooth and decent sound. Not interested in Booming bass, just decent tunes.

I looked at, and installed, a ceiling mounted radio using ceramic magnets. The magnets were attached to the radio base and more than firmly hold it in place. The install wiring is a simple ground to a visor screw and power down to the fuse box (snaked along the inner windshield rubber). The radio has built in speakers, sounds great and can be removed in 90 seconds. I also used an "inside the windshield" antenna so there are no holes anywhere-it is mounted on the right inside of the windshield and no one even notices it. My total cost was under $200. The radio was off of Ebay and the magnets and antenna off of Amazon-see receipts below.

I like it. It looks like the magnets work through the headliner.

I used 5 of those magnets, 4 are enough. Bluntly they are so strong it is difficult to get them off and it is like the headliner does not exist. There is no radio interference from the magnets.

Personally I would like to keep my stock{still working in dash} style radio with an electronic upgrade.

i'm not even sure what my 65 dash has
don't want to cut it ,but as long as i have my fm radio and fit in the hole i'm ok i like the duel speaker in the dash
but if it was all orginal that is a cool option

The truck does not have a radio or a hole for one, that's why I did not want to cut it up from the facvtory plain dash.
