Wiring inside of steering column - '61 D100

Post by Snowdog »

Good day,

I'm replacing all of my wiring and wondering if there is a convenient way recommended for removing the current wiring bundle, and then inserting a new bundle.

I really want to change them up, but I don't want to remove the shaft.

Thank you!

Wiring in column is all part of the turn signal switch. Pretty easy to change out(end of wires have male/female disconnects). FYI, I have 1 oem '61 turn signal switch left out of my stash but they are hard to find and expensive. Pm me if you need clarification on removing the switch. Chris.

Pull the wires out but tie a strong string to them to use for reinstalling new wires. :thinking :thinking :thinking
