Installing new wiring harness - Connectors and plugs

Post by Snowdog »

I'm looking forward to starting on the installation of a Rebel wiring harness in my '61 D100. I'm curious if anyone could help with my compiling a list of the connectors, plugs, and ends I'll need.

Hoping to do the shopping all in one shot.

Thank you

Snowdog, I know I’m ‘way late to this party, but your connectors are called Packard type 56, males and females, from 12ga wire up to 18 ga. Or should I say down to 18 ga. 12ga is bigger. I got mine at Delcity.net, along with a crimper which was less than $15. The terminals are removable from the connector bodies, as shown in other threads in this forum. You can also get the connectors on Amazon.
You can’t say you drank all day if you didn’t start early in the morning.
