Resistor in coil circuit

Hi, was hoping I could find someone who could inform me if what I think is a resistor in the attached photo, mounted under the bolt head on the front of coil mounting bracket on my 318 poly ? Does it attach to the positive terminal on the coil
I know this is a long shot but worth a try, anyone know where to get the springs for the exhaust manifold heat riser? Thanks for the help.
Found out it is a radio static suppressor and is not shown in the wiring diagram. Mopar ad on.

pretty sure the noise suppressor connects to positive side of coil. ebay search for heat riser repair kit might find what you need. usually have to buy the kit. never seen just a spring
