Did a '63 D100 have fuse box

Post by Volksnut »

Doing some leak repairs and pulled the dash. Ahh no fuse box? Seems like a few items ran off the amp gauge, but I didn't see a box.

there are breakers. I think there is one on headlights and one on wiper switch that also supplies the heater motor. they are more reliable than fuses. that's why airplanes run them. they just reset automatically after short is repaired. they will click off if there is a short and comes back on as they cool down in around 20 seconds.

if you have a shop manual it mentions them. or you can see them on wiper switch and headlight switch. I think with certain accessories they installed more.
