1968 LWB D100 /6
When I turn the light switch to just the parking lights the tail lights come on and the license plate light comes on. When I then pull the switch to turn on headlights the rear taillight and license plate light go out but brake lights work and blinkers work
I’m guessing the switch?

Re: Lighting issue
Brake light and signal light circuits have no association with the headlight switch. They work whether headlights are on or not (daytime).

Re: Lighting issue
Does your front marker lights stay on when your headlights are on? If so, I would say that the running light circuits for the front and rear are reversed on the connection to the headlight switch. If not, then I would suspect the headlight switch itself. Doug
Re: Lighting issue
I'll check what's plugged into what on the switch, that might be it. That would make sense, because on a 1968 the front running light are not suppose to be on when the headlights are on.dougdodgeman wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2019 5:39 amDoes your front marker lights stay on when your headlights are on? Re: Lighting issue
It ended up being the switch was corroded. I replaced with a spare I had and all lights came on when they should have.
