EDITED
So, I tried to get my old '61 to turn over a few times today. I've just started the rehabilitation, changed the oil, and wanted to try it out.
Starting off, the last time it was running was 3 years ago, and the battery is SHOT.
I hooked us the boosters to my Fusion. I got the wipers to run, and the motor to turn over SLOWLY a few times. I retried this about four times, and the motor turned slowly. I was fine with this, as I knew the battery is shot.
My son, unbeknownst to me, my son was goofing around, and knocked the truck into first. I hit the key again, and it lurched.
After that...nothing. With the key in on position, the wipers and lights will come on, but not a peep from the starter. I've gone back to try a few times, and nothing.
Is this a fuse issue? Any help would be very, very appreciated.

Check and clean all connections, put a known good battery in, then try again. If no go after that, get your meter out and start checking voltages.
