Hello,
I got a Retrosound stereo i'm trying to install and it needs 12V of constant power from the battery along with 12V ignition/ACC. Reference here: https://www.retromanufacturing.com/page ... your-radio

Has anyone installed a new stereo and has guidance here?

12V constant is typically power for the devices memory ( programed presets) and 12V switched is for operational power, on and off with the ignition switch, keyed. If you poke around the fuse box you should find both.

Thanks! I have looked at the fuse diagram (here: download/file.php?id=33268&mode=view) and can't figure out which is which. I'm assuming "Radio 6A" is the switched 12V. Which location has constant 12V?

I think an industry standard is yellow equals 12V constant (memory) and red equals 12V switched power.

4-way flasher/ cigar lighter is a constant hot on your fuse block.

A light tester will determine that. Easy to figure that one out.

The ACC terminal on the ign switch is "switched 12V", the + terminal on the ign switch is hot 12V all the time. Too simple!
