I am trying to figure out what can make it read accurately (as far as a range is concerned)

Sick of it to the point of possibly using a sight glass drilled in like you see on Choppers....

Simple.
Gauge defective, voltage wrong or resistance wrong, its the (Ohms) law!

Thanks Bill. I reached an epiphany while responding to Buds PM.

I've adjust the float arm with slight imrpovements but now wondering if maybe the internal contact is touching the spring at the wrong location....

Now if Only i can track down correcting that resistance - I will try a "new" gauge
