My battery was totally dead (old) when i got back to truck in airport lot. Midnight. The parking guy gave me a jump and the truck ran fine. I would rather have replaced the battery but had to get home. I drove it for an hour . turned it off in my drive and dead of course.
So have I done terrible damage to my alternator and or voltage regulator by driving it?
bad battery had to drive it.

Gotta love old trucks, so simple.
Now if that was a new car you might have had to call On Star and dealer to reset your computers, hopefully none of your air bags popped and don't forget to reset your tire monitors, turn your key on off on off ten times with all doors open.
