Turn signal switch
Found this NOS bad boy on ebay for 89 shipped. Looks identical to the one I pulled out of my 66 that wasn't working and had a busted horn contact roller. It didn't list my truck in the applications but I rolled the dice. They had it listed for 69-73 heavy duty trucks. Hopefully it will work or as is or I'm sure I can combine working parts from mine and this one to get it right. Anybody have any clue if they're the same off the top of their head?

Re: Turn signal switch
Here is the one I removed from my 66 I notice the red and white wires on this switch go into the back and the ones on the switch I just ordered go into the top plate.

Re: Turn signal switch
if it works then it will be a great deal haha time will tell. Still have a ways to go before wiring is even considered in my project but I saw this and didn't want to pass it up for that price.

Re: Turn signal switch
Not the same as your '66 (or any pre-'69)... connector pins are different, at a minimum.
If it does mount to your column, I believe the turn signal lever will mount differently, too.
If that all works, or you get it to work, I would change the under-dash wires to the '69 and later style connectors, to match the ones on this turn signal switch. It will be much easier to find a replacement switch in the future.
See the 8th topic here for more info on the '69-'71 switches and wiring: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=34977

Re: Turn signal switch
It will fit and work. Just change out the connectors to the bullet style. Used the same on my '67 shorty.

Re: Turn signal switch
Any electrical place should have the fatter bullet connectors you need. The ones that you find commonly at home depot are a size too small.

Re: Turn signal switch
All I care about is it mounting to the column I guess. I'm completely re wiring the truck when I get to that step of the build and I don't have the original turn signal lever so il figure somethig out for that. Mine was removed hen the previous owner threw in a signal stat. Thanks for the heads up.
