1970D300 windshield wiper dose not work
Hey guys I'm new here this my first post. I've had my 1970 Dodge D 300 for while about two years I'v finish installing the new wiring kit 20 circuit universal Speedway wiring kit but I've left the original harness for the windshield wipers I have ran power into the switch I think but I don't seem to have any wipers they do not work but they did work in the past. I'm not sure if the motor is bad or maybe the switch is bad I will upload pictures tomorrow of what I have going on because trying to explain it in writing is kind of complicated lol maybe someone can help? I would greatly appreciate it lol I had to drive home in a rainstorm at night this evening on the freeway and that was not fun so time to get this taken care of lol hopefully I can figure out how to upload pictures lol

Thanks John appreciate it:)...ok I will pull the motor out and bench test it I know it's a two speed wiper setup. Should I just run 12 volts to the motor? Any particular spot I should run power into it on the motor? I just don't want to damage if there isn't anything wrong with it I've heard that they're easy to damage before. Still trying to learn how to post pictures

Re: 1970D300 windshield wiper dose not work
Ok just pulled the wiper motor out of the truck I got it sitting on the workbench just not sure how to test it there appears to be a ballast resistor? on the bottom of the wiper motor? Then there's a four prong connection towards the top of the motor imagine that's what controls the motor I've been testing it with 12 volts of power but haven't gotten anything yet but yet again I'm not sure if I'm testing it the right way I just been grounding various connections are running power to others I've also ran power into the switch assembly and left the harness attached to the motor but still nothing. Any help would be appreciated on how to properly test the wiper motor thanks guys for the help so far:)
