W-300 Head Light Switch

Post by Denis »

Need to remove the head light switch on my '68 W-300 but can't get the knob off. Any body know how it's held on? I don't want to break the knob taking it off.

Feel behind the dash and the switch has a little spring loaded pin on the bottom. Push this in and pull. The rod comes off with the plastic knob. :2cents

I knew there was some trick. I'll give this a try tomorrow. Thanks.

Yes, there was a button. Pushing it in allowed the shaft with knob to come out of the switch. Thanks for the tip.
