Signal Stat 900

Post by 1surfer »

Has anybody heard of the signal Stat 900 ?

Would that be a good choice to replace my broken 2510945 signal switch ? :banghead

Yes, I use one. Had to run the wires outside the steering shaft tube.

Is it a good alternative ?
Brakelights signals and flashers work?
Is the horn a separate wire ?

I use an ancient version in my 49 truck. Everything worked fine last time the truck was in service (1994).
Horn is separate.

Same system is still common in ag trucks. They work fine and seem to last forever. Except the cancel wheel wears out after about 50 years.
If I didn't build it, it ain't mine.

I might have to go with the signal stat 900 and when I hit the lottery I can buy the proper switch.

Signal stat works great. Put it in and it does the brake lights, turn signals and the flashers as promised. It is a great alternative to an expensive NOS turn signal unit.

I too will be going this route. You can get them with a horn button on the very end as well. It's not the 900 model though. http://www.truckspring.com/heavy-duty-t ... SM920.aspx
